This is a wonderful Observatory run by a very experienced staff. Soo much to see and do with 5 telescopes and an incredible planetarium.

The Norman Lockyer Observatory in Sidmouth is both a historical observatory and home to an active amateur astronomical society. It is a centre for amateur astronomy, meteorology, radio astronomy, and the promotion of science education. A 5 minute drive by car or if your up for stretching your legs it can be accessed via the south west coast path which runs uphill to the observatory with great views guaranteed once you reach the top.

A friendly observatory on the Sidmouth coast with very little light pollution - great for taking a closer look at the moon!
