There's always live music down Main Street in historic Placerville on Fridays through Sundays (days and nights)--sometimes other days of the week as well. Search for "Placerville Downtown events" for the official Main St. events.

Just park on one end of Main Street and walk up and back you will run into a bunch of unique shops and lots of antiques.

“Great happy hour margaritas 3-6! They continuously update their menu. People love their blackened shrimp tacos. Also a short walk.”

“Very nice sandwich shop right on Main Street. The only seating is outside at the large deck. Most tables have umbrellas. Good place to enjoy passing traffic and people. They only do lunch. Service is sometimes slow but everything is made fresh. They also serve beer. During Spring thru Fall, on Saturdays, the Farmers Market is across the street.”
