Nimbin has a hippie charm that reminds one of Byron Bay. Check out The Nimbin Candle Factory on the outskirts of the town for lovely hand dipped candles made the traditional way. All sorts of colours and shapes available. We love it.
Beautiful part of the larger region. It's well know for it's beautiful...grass ;)
Since the Aquarius Festival in the 70's, it seems that Nimbin hasn't changed much. Lots of colourful characters wander the streets, and colourful murals adorn the shops. Good cafes, interesting people and shops.
Cullen St Nimbin is a must see.. Lots of colourful character's and interesting little shops. Home of the Hippies, & Hemp Embassy
