The turquoise blue waters of Torch Lake make it one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Visit one of the public access sites, then visit the cute little town of Alden. Have an ice cream cone at Higgins Store and a beer at the Torch Lake Beer Co.

One of the most beautiful spring fed lakes, with a huge sand bar, and gorgeous colors. Lake St access near the Torch River Bridge leads directly to the famous sand bar.

Crystal clear fresh water lake, just outside of Bellaire. Check out the sandbar, go for a boat ride, or catch a sunset.

“Bachmann's store is the heart of our village. Their motto "if we don't have it, you don't need it" has always rang true as you'll find anything you "need". The legendary penny candy counter has been in the same spot as long as I can remember, and the kids will love the selection of cool toys. Be gentle with front door...it's 150 years old!”
