With an entry to the popular Butterfly Creek or Bus Barn bush walks so close to our BnB you will be on the track within a few minutes walk from walking out the door! A must-do activity for many of our guests with a reasonable level of fitness, the track up and over one of the local hills gets the heart pumping and provides many lovely views of the harbour en route.

So many great walking tracks in the Regional Parks in the area, we recommend East Harbour Regional Park, specifically the Butterfly Creek track... the hill is well worth the climb - spectacular views and a great picnic area at the end... If you over heat you can always grab an ice cream and a swim in Days Bay to end the day!

Really nice walks through this ancient forest, with trees up to 100's of years old. Access is near Brew'd or The Pavilion, the marker is beyond the walks.

5 min walk up the hill and you enter around 30km of hiking and biking trails.

There are amazing walks really close by! No need to drive. Simply head up past the little garden shed up through the skinny ridge track then onto the path (Ngaumatau Road) and from there you will find some tracks, otherwise continue on past the water reservoir for more tracks.
