Super friendly (and a UPS pick-up/drop-off location). They're a local games store and host many gaming events and are available for birthday parties: various role playing games both for children and adults, Scrabble club, Go club, Chess club, Magic the Gathering Drafts, Open gaming nights, Free local Comedy and more. Emphasis on board games and very light on the hobbies aspect. Chess, dominoes, cards, poker supplies and many classic games, as well as European imports, small local game developers and several collectible card games (Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!).

Some Saturdays they host stand-up comedy nights. These are BYOB, free and generally pretty good. Their shows are advertised on sf.funcheap.com (east bay), which is a great resource for fun.
