Tips from locals
Best Thai food around! Todd and Somsomai are wonderful people and Todd has an extensive beer menu. Belgian and German beers on tap. Just a walk down my street. Outdoor seating available.
Fantastic Thai! Among the best we've ever had. Reborn and bounced back after a fire a couple of years back now offering more indoor/outdoor seating with heat lamps. Listed as one of The Metro's "Best Thai of Silicon Valley" and a great line-up of Trappist Beers. teeneethaisanjose.com
Amazing selection of Belgian beers and vintage wines that pair beautifully with the regional cuisine. Try the lettuce wraps!
They have a really nice back garden with music on the weekends. The food is really good too.

“Peets is one of the original coffee houses. Peets has been my favorite coffee place and the original is still in Berkeley, at Walnut and Vine. Since 1966! Alfred Peet supplied the three founders of Starbucks, with coffee in 1971. Native that I am, I stick to Peets as my coffee of choice!”

“ I know many of you are fans of Starbucks, but did you know the founders were friends of Alfred Peet, who opened his first coffee house in Berkeley in 1966. "Peet's" then supplied the founders with coffee in 1971, getting them their start.”
