Open to the public free of charge on clear Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Check their site for confirmation weather's good.
Honest to goodness stargazing, historic bldg, only open Tue nights but worth a walk through the small but charming grounds.
Historic observatory opened in 1891. They have weekly (Tuesday evenings) free space viewings, with telescopes set up to show various interesting things and staff to explain what you're seeing and answer questions.
