Tips from locals
This is a popular whale watching spot - bring binoculars! (Jan-May) Grab a sandwich from Spud's and head up to Bodega Head for a picnic with views and a hike! Gorgeous little beach down below (rough waters, not for swimming)
Walk along the bluffs with a view of the wild Pacific and seabirds soaring overhead. On clear days you can see Point Reyes Peninsula and the mouth of Tomales Bay. It's rugged, wild and beautiful and there is a good trail.
A short hike to the beach, with fantastic views of the coast. Plenty of parking if you want to just sit in your car and enjoy the scenery.
