A chance to ride the ferry and have fish and chips on arrival. Or go to Manly.
A great day out from here. Beachside village feel, great fish & chips and gobsmacking views. Take the tram to Circular Quay and jump on a ferry to Watsons Bay. Gawp at The Gap. And take your costume for a dip in the harbour at Camp Cove.
Get a great taste of Sydney Habour and catch a ferry to Watsons Bay and, if you can afford it, head straight to Doyles - it's world famous. But make sure to order the stuffed prawns. So 70s I know but they've been on the menu since before then and there's a reason why. Be sure to book ahead!
Watsons Bay is as much a holiday destination as it is a place to call home. At the end of South Head Peninsula, Watsons Bay is surrounded by the calm waters of Sydney Harbour on one side and the emerald Pacific Ocean on the other. This historic and quaint seaside neighbourhood is all about fine dining and sun-filled days (Sitchu).
