The Spa at the homestead is smashing- look over the Manitou islands and swim. Have a massage (my daughter works here and it gets rave reviews if you like spa's. You don't have to be staying at the Homestead to book at the spa.

A family resort that captures the Northern Michigan experience. Jump on the Heritage bike trail immediately outside of the property, eat excellent food at their lake-front restaurant, play on the exquisite beaches, and in the winter, visit the Homestead to downhill ski.

Summertime - best adult pool is at the spa overlooking Lake Michigan. Stay a while
