This is a seasonal thing so call ahead. We have always seen whales in season. Puffins are also seasonal.

Located in Bar Harbor (obviously) this company has more than twenty-five years of tour operation experience and has taken over one million people to see whales out in the Gulf of Maine. They also offer Atlantic Puffin watch tours. Reservations/tickets are required, so please visit their website, barharborwhales.com.

If you have never seen a whale close up, consider it. This company will take you to their area, and the whales will come to you to say hello. It's awesome.
