Ride a portion of the original route of The Hocking Valley Railway built in the late 1860's. We've ridden the rails numerous times for numerous events such as the Easter Train with the grandkids and when we feel like passing a warm summers day at a slower pace. The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway is located in Nelsonville, Ohio, southeast of Logan, and is at the entrance of Rocky Boots!

The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway is an all-volunteer non-profit organization founded in 1972 for the restoration, maintenance and operation of historic railroad equipment for the entertainment and education of the general public.

WORTH IT! Check out the different excursions they offer for a smooth and relaxing train raid through the Hocking valley. They offer seasonal themed excursions too like fall foliage and holiday train rides as well.
