Cordoaria Nacional Gallery is a national monument. It was where the sailing cables "cabos" where made from the 18th to the 20th century. The gallery has an excellent exhibit programming all year just across the street, with some of the best international art shows.

Temporary art exhibitions, in the beautiful building where they used to produce ropes, sails and flags that equipped the Portuguese ships. (15 minutes walk from the flat)

Cordoaria Nacional is the place where huge navy ropes were crafted, hence the building being huge. Currently it holds exhibits. Very interesting place.
