Around 400 years ago , when Toyotomi Hideyoshi visited the Sumiyoshi Taisha shrine and Sakai, resting at the teahouse here, enjoying the tea ceremony and enjoying the scenery in the vicinity, so local people came to call this teahouse Tengachaya. The teahouse itself were burned down due to war damage, and now there are only a big camphor tree, a stonehouse, and a stone statue are remained. It was restored in 1987. 4 minutes walk from Nankai Koya Line Kishinosatotamade station. This station is 8 minutes rid from Abikomae station which is 4 minutes walk from here.
