Port Eliot is another beautiful estate with stunning gardens and grounds. There are some gorgeous walks through woodlands and parks and there is also a tea room and a pretty old church that you can go into too. Once a year they hold the Port Eliot Festival which is a music event held over a few days. They also have other acts and events throughout the year, including Tom Jones in 2022!

Our historic home, which has been inhabited by the same family for 500 years, and is considered to be the longest continually inhabited house in the UK It has been home to both the Elephant Fayre in the 1980’s and more recently the Port Eliot Lit Fest. Our gardens are grade 1 listed, a distinction shared only with Helligan in Cornwall, and interior architecture by Sir John Soane
