See for miles around from the highest point in the Bundaberg area. Oceans, mountains, Bundaberg township and wide open cane fields with sunsets to view. Your Airbnb is only a 15 minute walk away.

If you're driving out towards Bargara take a very short detour to go to the lookout. It gives panoramic views of the district and on a REALLY clear day you can see the northern tip of Fraser Island.

Walking tracks around the Hummock including the boardwalk through the environmental park. Great views of the Region.

our coastal strip is most likely one of the flattest you have come across in Australia and, the Hummock is the only hill around! Actually it is a low volcanic hill between Bargara and Bundaberg. The eruption for this hummock occured about 1 million to 900000 years ago. The erupted basalt lava flowed west to Bundaberg, south to the Elliot river and east to the Bargara coast then eventually flowing out to sea. You will be surrounded by rich, volcanic soil: perfect for agriculture and your dinner table!
