“Renee's sweet cabin is surrounded by beautiful trees and lovely views. We enjoyed the big king sized bed and loved the bay window with the very comfy daybed /couch. She was thorough in cleaning and disinfecting the cabin for us before we got there, and she was attentive to what we requested during our stay. The doggies and horses on the property greeted us with love. They were just so sweet and Renee gave us some carrots to feed the horses if we wanted to. Besides being so close to the park and seeing the majestic sequoias, my favorite part of staying there was bonding with the animals and sitting in the bay window. Oh and the stars... wow! Be ready to wake up with the sun and a beautiful view with the glorious windows, and you may see the occasional bug inside, since it is surrounded by trees. We loved our stay and highly recommend. Thanks Renee!!”

“We loved Sarah's place! The location is lovely - a little off the beaten path, which we really like. The rental itself was nicely designed and decorated. Although it's attached to the main house, we had lots of privacy and a large back yard area all to ourselves. The landscaping is filled with native plants and bird feeders, we could have watched the busy birds coming and going all day (goldfinch, nuthatch, titmouse and a big old hawk). Surrounded by native landscape, wild flowers and views, this was the perfect weekend getaway. We hope to come back in the spring when the wildflowers will really be popping! Sarah provides wifi but note there isn't a television, which we were totally fine with. She also stocks the cabin with tons of books about the area so we were able to get some research in about the area and the National Parks.”
The 400 square foot cabin sits next to the main house overlooking 4.7 acres. The river runs through the back of the property nine months out of the year. There is river access if you want to cool off. The main house and cabin share a large back deck. The cabin has its own parking and entrance. It is equipped with everything except a stove; however there is a microwave and hot plate, if you wish to cook. The property is 8 miles from the Sequoia Ranger station and 25 miles from the top.
“If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is the place! Rhonda’s house is perfect for a couples trip out to Three Rivers and Sequoia National Park. Rhonda is responsive and a great host! She also has the 3 sweetest dogs. The property is private and there are animals like woodpeckers, quails and deer. The guest house is very cozy with a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor patio deck with a grill. We hope to come back soon!”
