Holiday rentals with lake access in Thurgau

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Staying with Marie and Jürg was very relaxed. Marie welcomed us and also asked in between by messenger to see if everything was okay in this way. In the fridge we always found fine cheese, Grison meat, herbs, yogurt, butter, jam, milk and juice for breakfast. In addition, there was coffee (machine with pads), fresh breads, cereals and honey. The apartment is quietly located with a parking space in front of the door, very clean, well maintained, and practical. Very nice is the distant view, which you can enjoy in the conservatory from the dining table, an entire window front long. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back:)

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a very special Airbnb experience, as the hosts are incredibly friendly and open. The accommodation is well equipped and offers everything you need. Particularly beautiful is also the communal area with a small bar

A comfy, rustic home in one of the most gorgeous spots on the Untersee. This house is spacious with a lovely outdoor sitting area, balcony and patio in almost every direction. A ten minute walk to the lake, restaurants and train. It was ideal for our family of 5 (adults and teens) and even accommodated our nephew for one night. We would visit again! Thank you

Marie-Anne’s place is absolutely peaceful and has all your essentials and comforts - the place was larger than I expected, and has all the quirks of a lovely older cottage. Note the bed is extremely on the softer side, for a few days I coped but long term stays may not be the easiest to wake up in. Kitchen is spacious with modern appliances, dishwasher and was a joy to cook in. No freezer to note for other foreigners from other continents (but common for European households) Under 10 minute walk from the train station, 1 bus stop if you have luggage. A few supermarkets and local bakery nearby.

The place was as described and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particularly positive was the quiet surroundings and the good accessibility. Everything was clean and well maintained – I felt comfortable.

First of all, the extraordinary cleanliness of the apartment. All floors as well as bathroom and kitchen were in immaculate condition. In addition, the apartment was well furnished with all the necessary accessories in the kitchen and bathroom. We slept excellently in the high quality bed. The space is an absolute recommendation, especially for the price.

Bianca is an exceptional host, very welcoming, very friendly. She and her 2 adorable cats hosted our dog very well as well. We had a pleasant stay, everything is spotless, nothing is missing at the house. The accommodation is a 10 min walk from Arenenberg Castle (I recommend) and 30 min drive from the island of Mainau (beautiful).

Everything was excellent!

When we got to Karl's place, it was easy to find. There was a lovely foyer with outdoor seating. At a beautifully appointed apartment. The parking garage is easy and convenient. There are local restaurants and bakeries.Nearby, so food was not an issue. And the park along the river is a beautiful walking area. We use this as our home base to explore eastern Switzerland the Bondesee, Lichtenstein, and the nearby alps. we even got a chance to paddle on the Rhine River. If you haven't been to Arbon, it's well worth the visit.

The apartment was great. Short walk to the lake and train. Short drive to the mountains. Everything we wanted. Perfect size for the three of us and a dog.

Nice hostess. Great apartment. Nice place. Good starting point for activities. We were lucky with the weather. It was a nice stay in Steckborn. We are satisfied with everything. Greetings to the nice hostess Ralf and Ute
