Living/sleeping are combined in an L shaped room. There is a separate kitchenette (basic food preparation/microwave/small electric frypan) and bathroom. Sleeping options - a queen size bed or 2 single beds. SINGLE BEDS MUST BE REQUESTED WHEN BOOKING. Bush walks nearby. Parking. Continental breakfast. Nearest town is Geraldine, 19kms.

Situated on the Inland scenic route [High way 72] and only a short drive to Mount Hutt ski field and the Ashburton Lakes /Lord of the Rings country.For a longer drive Geraldine is only 30 minutes away and the Gateway to the beautiful Southern Lakes . The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Not suitable for infants/children.

Bedeshurst bnb - An ideal stop 10km from Fairlie

Bedeshurst bnb is a cosy, private studio unit which is situated on our farm under the foothills of the Southern Alps, in the South Island of NZ. We are in the countryside, an 8-10 minute drive from the small town of Fairlie on a gravel/shingle no-exit road. We live in a beautiful, quiet part of the country and the unit has amazing views across our farm and to the mountains beyond. Our farm has great walking and biking tracks, so if this interests you then please just ask.

Fresh eggs from our hens plus ingredients to cook yourself pancakes for breakfast! Or treat yourself to egg brekkie instead. We are located a 2 minute drive from Lake Opuha, popular for water sports and fishing, a little over 30 minutes to the summit of Mt Dobson ski field, Fox Peak ski field, and about an hour from Round Hill ski field. Fairlie is a short 10 minute drive away, and Lake Tekapo is 30 minutes away. A great spot to get away from it all! Fully self contained and away from our house, you will have complete privacy throughout your stay.
