Sunniva was a fantastic host, really helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was as described, very spacious, well equipped, felt really homely. Loved the artwork and plants around the home. The area was spot on for our needs. Would love to return to this apartment and Norway, lovely country and lovely people!!! 😊

Varhaug near the lake

We only stayed one night in this accommodation. It is a very spacious apartment, internally all made of wood, very pleasant and cozy. It is from a very large family and this is well understood, the spaces are all very spacious and convivial. Living-dining-kitchen with sea view in the distance. Family welcome, Inger-Lise was present and offered us the milk of their cows, very welcome! In fact, it is a farm (but animals are elsewhere) in a beautiful agricultural area along the coast. About 1 km away is an evocative church overlooking the sea with the old country cemetery. Inger-Lise is very kind, she gave us directions to a place to fish and immediately gave us a missing grater. To the description I would add that it is accessed from an external staircase, it is on the first floor. There are beds in a large passage room where there is also a ping pong table!! Recommended, outstanding, and family accommodations

Stay close to nature

Had a wonderful stay in the house of Vibeke. The house is nice and fully furnished with a nice view over the lake. The space to sit outside is also nice. Within half an hour to Stavanger and one hour to the parking lot of Preikestolen. Running along the lake is also nice. You will be within walking distance of 2 supermarkets, a mall and an outdoor outlet. We had a great time, also because of the pleasant contact with Vibeke. She responded quickly and was very helpful and interested!

Spacious apartment close to Kongeparken

In Hildur's place, we immediately felt at home. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Lake for walking and swimming are within walking distance in the area, or mountains for hiking. A trip to Stavanger is highly recommended, a very beautiful city. I was also on the Preikestolen for a day of hiking. Here, too, you can get there easily by car, there are even two routes, so you can also combine it with a "car tour." Simply picturesque. Hildur was a very good hostess, responded quickly and the place was clean. :) We would book it again and can recommend the place.

Flat located directly on the lake

we had the most amazing stay here. the host ensured we always had our privacy and never heard them once. the photos Don't do it justice, it's even more beautiful than the photos!! the lake is amazing with the kayaks amd life jackets. we had everything we could possibly need. the host was so responsive and ensured we had everything, and even gave us a bag of logs after we'd asked where to buy them from. I would return in a heart beat! definitely recommend!

Alison and Oliver are truly amazing. A lovely and happy couple always willing to help and to have a little chat. We felt very welcome at their clean, cozy and spacious flat and had a great time in the little village surrounded by only Norwegians. The view from the living room / the terrace is amazing and on clear days you could even see some mountain peaks covered in snow as well as the nearby ocean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals. The beds are comfortable and there's a lot of space in the closets. We did not use the extra room but it is very helpful to store things you don't want to have flying around in the dormitories or the living room. All in all we had a wonderful experience -> 5 out of 5 stars.

Really nice place with access to small beach, hot tub and cozy conservatory to enjoy the view from. Large window section in living room/kitchen overlooking the fjord and mountains. SO nice! Walking distance to ferry to Lysebotn, Flørli, etc. Very good and nice host who gave us great recommendations for great trips with small children and answered questions minutes after we wrote. We'll definitely be back someday 😍

We arrived late and Birgit kept the place warm for us. The apartment is cosy and the convenience store is just nearby. Before we left, she came by to say hi and gave us some recommendations for our road trip. We had a short but pleasant stay!

The house is very well-equipped and very clean - looks just like the photos. Forsand is a great place to use as a base for hikes in around Lysefjord and boat trips on the fjord. Inger Ann was very responsive and flexible (kindly allowing us a late check-out as one if our kids was ill). But ... the best thing is the view. It really is breath-taking. Even when we had rain, we could sit and watch the weather changing over the fjord. Overall, a perfect place & location.

We had a wonderful stay in Sandnes! Haakon is a talented painter and such a kind and welcoming host. He responded quickly to every question and was always available if we needed anything. The house had a beautiful view and was very cozy — we found everything we needed, just like being at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area! 😊
