We rent out our guest cottage in the scenic village of Timmervik, situated in a rural setting approximately 45 km north of Gothenburg and just over 10 km from Stenungsund. The nearest community is Jörlanda (about 4 km away), and you will need your own car to get to and from the cottage. The cottage has a separate bedroom for two, a shower/toilet with a washing machine, and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, where there is sleeping space for a further 1–2 people on a sofa bed (140 cm wide). The village bathing area and the boat jetties at Hakefjorden are within walking distance (approx. 900 m).

The house has 4 +1 beds and is fully equipped for short to slightly longer stays. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, combi oven with microwave, stove. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the adjacent terrace there is an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill. Parking next to the house.

Wonderful cottage with a patio that has ocean views

We rent out our cottage, which is a real gem all year round. The location is perfect with a 5-10 minute walk to saltwater swimming and nice viewpoints. By car, you can get to Marstrand in 20 minutes and to Gothenburg in 35 minutes and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated in the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a sunroom with a balcony that has sea views. The house is suitable for families with children, friends and couples. Maximum 4 adults but more if they are children.

The bathroom is equipped with shower, sink, toilet and washer/dryer. The loft has two 90 cm mattresses. Nice patio with the possibility of relaxation and barbecue.
