Idyllic place on Gøynes by Lake Tinnsjøen

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400,-

Welcome to our lovely, newly renovated guesthouse! Here you can relax in peaceful surroundings and enjoy our amazing view towards both Gaustatoppen and Blefjell. The house is centrally located in Hovin 350m from the convenience store, with hiking opportunities right outside the door, or 15 min drive to get to prepped ski slopes and mountains. Hovin is a village in Telemark belonging to the same municipality as the World Heritage City of Rjukan - a perfect location for a day trip! The driving time is 2h from Oslo, 1h from Kongsberg.

The cabin has 8 beds, 7 adults and 1 child spread over 2 bedrooms and a large loft. The cabin is located on an old Norwegian farmyard and has its own parking and electric car charging.

Welcome to our cabin! 😊 The cabin is located on the sunny side of Gaustatoppen, about 870 m above sea level. It has fantastic views of three lakes and the mountain landscape. 😊 Right on the down side of the cabin is worthwhile Tuddal mountain hotel. This is a historic hotel well worth a visit. Attached municipal water and drainage, with fresh and well water in the tap. NB! BED LINEN and TOWELS must BE BROUGHT, but can be rented for an additional fee of NOK 100 per person. Bed sizes: 1x180 cm, 1x150 cm, 1x 120 cm, 3x 75 cm.

In the summer there are countless hiking opportunities and if you are interested in fishing there are many good options in the area. The Gaustatop is a very popular top tour and is located right nearby. A lovely, relaxing holiday in the mountains. Perfekt for x-country skiing and hiking. Great for trips to Gaustatoppen, named the most beautiful mountain in Norway. Three bedrooms. A large, cozy fire place in the living room, and a large terrace for cold beverages and hot cocoa in the sun after some outdoor fun. A nice walk from Tuddal Høyfjellshotel with a great cafe and restaurant. Close to lake perfekt for swimming on hot days.
