The terrace is large and surrounded by a fenced garden - suitable for dogs and children. The garden has become a forest with paths that are regularly beaten. The house is heated with a fireplace, wood-burning stove and heat pump. Bring your own firewood or buy it at a nearby shop. The area is characterised by nature and cottages and beautiful beaches within cycling distance. Arresø is only 5 minutes from the house. Tinggården 10 min. on foot.

There is wifi, smart TV, bluetooth speaker and American fridge with ice cubes. Coffee is made in a French press and outside there is a large gas grill incl. gas.

Directly to the Fjord

Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

The house is decorated in modern beach house style – ”simple living” with a great amount of charm and a personal touch! The House is located on a 3.600 square meters plot, where the 2.000 square meters are beach and sea. The beach is private (though the public has access). But since it is private and there is no big parking lot you'll mostly have the beach to yourself!

There is free access to kayaks, SUP, campfire, bicycles and fishing rods. New WILDERNESS BATH and ICE BATH are available for a fee.
