On the very spot where there used to stand an old farmhouse, a new house was built in the traditional local architectural style with wooden balconies and a stone façade. The holiday flat has been furnished with everything that is needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Soca valley offers you unique opportunities to explore the natural and cultural heritage of the Tolminska region. Apart from several museums, there are well maintained trails leading to places of cultural interest and energy spots. All those seeking adrenaline thrills can choose from a wide range offered in the region. The LOM holiday flat is also an ideal place to stay for hunters, fishermen and bikers. Seating areas around the house offer different beautiful views Morning sunrise, shaded south seating; but sunny in winter! Lunch/ dinner table west facing shaded by old pear tree. Dark starry nights, moonlit or Milky Way, silent or animal sounds! Village life is a 10min meadow walk. In summer a cosy traditional bar/cafe serves home-cooked food.

Our house, located in the wild nature of Triglav National Park, is surrounded by a forest and beautiful mountains. Just under the house you can explore amazing water grove and a waterfall, which is known as energy point. In the valley you can enjoy the beauty of emerald green Soča gorge and if you're brave enough, you can jump right in. The house is a great starting point for many hiking trips. The most popular is certainly the hike to a beautiful glacial lake Krn, under the top of mountain Krn.

Lovely cottage in wilderness of the National Park

The chalet on mountain pasture Uskovnica is equipped with all the luxury that you would want on your vacation. Please note that it is a mountain cottage and there is gravel road (2 km). On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen, a large dining table, a sofa and a bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with access to a large balcony. There is a Finnish sauna that you can use to relax. There is also a table with a bench outside, everything for relaxing after hiking.

Cottage NA BIRU 1 by the Soca River

The Cottage Na Biru has one of the prettiest locations in the Soča valley. Undearneath mount Mrzli vrh and very close to our emerald Soca River on the edge of Gabrje village you will find a perfect spot for quiet or active holidays. There's tourist tax you have to pay at the arrival: 2 €/adult/day and 1 € for children between 7 and 18/day. There's one double and two single beds upstairs and a sofa in the living room, which means 5 people maximum. We can add a baby cot.
