Holiday rentals in Torlum

The caravan was very clean and tidy, beautiful views and easily accessible. Communication with Johan was fantastic. There was a folder with plenty of maps and leaflets for things to do and the caravan was well heated throughout.

This is the perfect hideaway for a short or long stay on the Isle of Skye. Easily accomodates a family of five or even two couples + two kids. Alan was very helpful throughout our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Graham’s beautiful cottage. It felt very private and peaceful, and the views from all angles of the house were stunning. We particularly enjoyed the cozy living room and fireplace and the well-stocked kitchen. While the location is quite remote on Skye, we loved having the whole house and surroundings to ourselves. Graham was extremely responsive and helpful, providing us with local tips and instructions. We would definitely come back!

I’m from Skye, family is there. And it was a perfect place for us to stay close to family on a visit. It was absolutely A1 ever was brilliant and we didn’t want to leave. What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

We had an amazing time at Chris and Carolines place. It was tucked away in a private location with spectacular views but also well positioned centrally to get to all of the magic spots across Skye. The hosts were proactive with really clear instructions to locate and access, the house was toasty warm when we arrived with all the amenities you could think of and thoughtful touches like boardgames for families.

Good communications and Ronnie even popped round to see how I’d settled in. Instructions on finding the place were spot on, I was left with no doubt as to where the cottage is. There is an information folder which is concise and helpful The cottage is perfect for my needs, as a single traveller for work. It’s ideal for singles or a couple to explore the islands. The Hebridean Way goes right past the cottage Excellent WiFi - speed good enough to stream TV and a helpful guide on how to connect etc. The place is clean with the right amount of amenities. Heating is good and instructions are great. Thank you also for the welcome gift. It’s my favourite! Would definitely stay here again

This is a beautiful house in a stunning location. Better even than the photos. It was very cosy and peaceful, with amazing views over the loch from virtually every window. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy and there is an amazing sound system. Next time we are coming to Skye I will definitely book here again. Thanks Juliet for the lovely stay.
