Hosts are exceptionally open, courteous, communicative, and helpful - they suggest the possibilities this place and nearby Brda. The cottage is comfortably furnished and beautifully integrated into nature, and mornings in trees and birdsong are wonderful. It's a great base for biking, lovely trails. The house is suitable for couple holidays as well as for the whole family. The property is large, so children can let off steam. The lake is in 3 minutes on foot and offers a small beach. There is a separate swimming spot on the lake. We were provided with bicycles. There is ample parking is available right in front of the house. The neighbors are nice and the whole area looks very well maintained. There is a quality kitchen (induction stove, side-by-side fridge), large beds, two bathrooms. Piotr has been thinking a lot about making his guests comfortable and cozy. In our opinion, there are two shortcomings: i) the internet could be faster (Youtube, Netflix, etc., but for (business)video conferences it is not always sufficient, ii) the home gym is missing a bench for the barbell, but the stepper works flawlessly. We loved the stay and would definitely come back again!

What Tomasz place is NOT about? It is not about shining 5 stars luxury. What Tomasz place IS about? It is about comfort, hospitality, warmth (literally…), authencity and paying attention for the smallest detail. You will find a home ready for a lot of fun, your kids probably will enjoy it too like ours did. Just keep in mind that aside all the benefits rural accommodation has (and it has so much: authenticy, privacy, clean air, forests, lakes, and so much more) you will have to drive and Poland is great country for so many means … :) however, the nearest town is just a 15 minute drive and A1 main road connecting you to Gdansk, Poznan or Warsaw is in 30 minute drive. Tomasz is very helpful and provided us full explanation on check-in. Bottom line, great host featuring great authentic place. Thank you Tomasz!

Rather spacious attic. Fantastically equipped kitchen. The bed is comfortable. The only downside I felt was that the water boiler was way too small. There was barely enough hot water to clean a few plates or take a quickest of showers.

A paradise in the middle of Poland, where you can stay fully cared for. Both in the morning and in the evening you can eat deliciously. A very quiet environment, where you can completely relax and where there is enough entertainment for children, such as the animals, the swimming pool, the vegetable garden, etc. Everything is very spacious and looks very well cared for and tasteful.

The place is just wonderful. Very private, quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can definitely reset and relax. Beautiful view from the garden. A huge advantage is the private jetty and direct access to the lake, plus a pool + sauna - there is just nothing missing :) The best contact with Agnieszka is the best. Agnieszka provided all the tips and additional referrals. We highly recommend it and would love to come back someday!

Agnieszka and Dorian absolutely made us feel home. Great people and even greater hosts. The place is idealic, lovely with a great big swimming pool and direct access to the lake. Dorian is a fishermen and he even took me on his boat around the lake trying to catch pike, during which I had absolute great conversations with him. The house is big enough for 4 people I would say, optional more but I'd stay max with 4 people. The terrace is great overlooking the lake and the house has everything you can think of, from coffee to a great big bbq grill. The villages around are kinda small, so don't expect much - you should book this place if you want to relax with your family away from the busy world, with great hosts. We absolutely will come back, but next time with our whole family and rent their other appartment too. Thanks again Dorian and Agnieszka, and of course, Beata who helps them when they are not around.

This is a very atmospheric hotel room in the small historic "Apartmenty" building on Torun's main square. As a tourist, you could not possibly have a better location. The painted ceiling is pretty, and the furnishings antique, but comfortable. The only downsides are if you are disabled (two long flights up on narrow stairs, not great with luggage, and a claw foot bathtub to climb into), and no AC. The later was a bit problematic for us on an unusually warm July day, as the windows open only to an enclosed courtyard, so no real opportunity to cool the room down with nighttime air. We had to remove the inserts from the heavy duvets in order to sleep without sweltering.

Beautiful, stylish apartment that is close to the center. Literally a 15-minute walk along the park and you're in the market. In the morning, the sun comes into the kitchen through the windows facing the park and making scrambled eggs even more pleasant. And the #shower is absolutely sweeping. I would love to take care of this apartment again someday:)

It is a very nice apartment, clean, tidy and everything you need for a pleasant stay is available. Dorota is an interested and nice hostess, asking if everything was to your liking. Location was great, close to supermarket, bakery and on the edge of a forest so very handy if you have a dog to walk. We will definitely book it again.

An affordable place to stay in a great location.

Lovely Host, great communicator. Comfy place, great for those wanting to be close to the centre but also to public transport options. Notable smell in bathroom, not the best ventilation. But well lit. Comfy sofa to sleep on.

This very spacious flat is across the river from the old town, but I would strongly recommend in the case of Toruń staying in the suburbs and visiting the city by crossing the rather glorious bridge, a walk with a great panorama. Staying in Toruń itself might be a little intense, as it is quite compact and reasonably crowded in the season. In fact, the flat is on the side with the main train station, which is a very short bus ride away, and next to a Lidl. The living room is enormous and has a balcony looking back towards the town, and the rest of the place is very user friendly. It's a family block among other such blocks and is very quiet. The lack of WiFi is worth noting, although for those of us with European phones and limitless data it's not really a big issue. The host is very friendly and proactive and speaks good English. Thoroughly recommended.

Very nice apartment in a quiet area, close to the city center. Interestingly decorated, it allows a little return to the past ;), it has its own style. The clocks tick beautifully and remind you to use life ;) I also really enjoyed the lamps. You can feel at home, fully equipped in the kitchen, comfortable beds, everything is well thought out, great! Very efficient and nice contact with hosts. I recommend :)

Apartment on the Pond is a great place for a weekend (and more!) stay!.. The apartment is well-maintained, clean, and fully equipped , which is important. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. You can walk to the Old Town in a few minutes. I consider a very successful stay in Toruń, although a short one! I will highly recommend your Host and will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises. I recommend!!
