Saivan is an old romanian word that means „winter shelter for the sheep”. Sitting on top of a plateau overlooking the Moldova river valley with mount Rarau in the background, LA SAIVAN *BioRetreat&Farm* is a special place, designed specifically for those who can appreciate unspoiled nature and life in a real, old-school yet alive traditional romanian farm, just like back in the day - but with all modern comforts. A unique authentic place, just 1 hour away from Suceava international airport.

The apartment is part of a traditional transylanian farmhouse, with a private entryway. The rooms are freshly restored and offer a cozy and calm ambiance. Breakfast is included and consists of delicious, organic and local ingredients, most of them actually being produced on the farm, that you are welcome to visit. Farm to table dinner is available as well, upon request beforehand (at least two days before arrival). We make equisite cheese, butter, charcuterie and other delicious treats.

Străjerii Verzi este un loc ce oferă liniște cu tot confortul pe care ni l-am dori oricare din noi. Aerul tare de munte te îmbie la multă odihnă, dar există și o multitudine de activități căutate în zonă și anume drumeții montane pe Piatra Craiului, plimbări pe multele trasee de bicicletă marcate, călăritul dar și degustări de brânzeturi tradiționale, în special brînza de burduf specifică stânelor de munte, și de preparate din carne, îndeosebi carnea în untură la borcan.

Our lovely country cottage is located on a 15000 sqm garden and consists of 3 separate small houses, with 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a barbecue, and individual bathrooms in each house for more comfort. The cottage is decorated in the authentic Transylvanian style with respect to local culture. At the border between Transylvania and Muntenia, it offers easy access to both Bran, Sinaia, and Brasov area as well as the south of Romania.
