The cabins are done in a traditional, rustic style . They are fitted with a pillow top queen sized bed and a fan . We are centrally located and only 150 meters away from the beach . Literally a stone's throw away . You can lie in the hammock and relax under the tree that bears the national flower , the Lignum Vitae and listen to the many birds chirping above . We are ideally situated away from the prying eyes and walking distance away from the restaurants and shops .
“This place is perfect. It is a beautiful slice of heaven with an outdoor shower, a beautiful clean room, comfortable bed, little fridge, peace and quiet and a porch with a hammock to chill and enjoy the beautiful Treasure Beach. Treasure beach community is amazing and this place is perfectly situated for you to access all it has to offer. Right next door to the amazing Smurf's breakfast, down the street from an amazing restaurant and 2 minutes walk from one of the nicest beaches we saw in Jamaica. Thank you Andrew for creating this beautiful oasis and sharing it with us!”
Likkle Eden, a special house with a half open architecture, is located in the heart of Treasure Beach, close to the beach (10 minutes walk) and next to the sports park. It is very peaceful and quiet, both central and well hidden, with a huge garden carrying lots of trees, cacti, flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. Like an oasis it is the perfect rejuvenating place for couples as well as solo travellers. The surrounding community, ourselves, and our gentle dog Akela welcome you in advance :)!
“Likkle Eden does exactly what it sys on the tin! What a gorgeous, secluded paradise this place is! Hans and Veronique live onsite, but far away enough for it to still feel private. They are brilliant, friendly people and happy to answer any questions, shoutout to Hans for letting us test out his dome whilst we stayed! The place itself is one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed in, very quirky, comfortable and homely. Sometimes these places can just feel like a base but Likkle Eden felt like somewhere we wanted to actually spend time in, and we did! The location is great, 10 minutes walk to the main road and beaches. The area itself is fairly small so you're never more than 15 minutes from anywhere anyway :) Absolutely do not hesitate to book this place, if we are ever back in Treasure Beach (likely) we will be returning!”
It’s a high vibe. Literally! One story up on a quiet beachside lane sits the stunning, well appointed rooftop apartment at Sea Urchin Villa. The rooftop mini villa is supremely private with a stunning view and soothing tropical breeze and sound of the ocean that will lull you to sleep at night. What sets it apart is not just its vista, but it’s style; simple, airy, and sexy with clean lines and an expansive roof terrace, perfect for sunset watching from the plunge pool. Total bliss.
“The upper unit at Sea Urchin is a gem and an oasis of privacy. Very romantic. Lot's of space, a fully equipped kitchen (only missing a food processor), ample outdoor furnishings, a very comfortable king bed, a delicious plunge pool, amazing views of the Carribean, which is 150 yards away, and, literally, a two minute stroll to Old Wharf Beach . . . for our money, (and we've been going to Treasure Beach for 23 years) the best swimming spot in the Treasure Beach area. Susan is an excellent, very attentive host. (Full disclosure, we have known her for a long time and her extended family are long-time friends.) Sanjay, the house manager, and Catherine, the housekeeper, are super and made our 10-day visit even more enjoyable than it might otherwise have been. The second day we were there, Sanjay made a special trip to another town to get us enough lettuce for our entire stay and Catherine is very fastidious, and took care of our laundry so we always had clean clothes. Water pressure is a tad on the low side for our preferences, but still okay. Renters need to bear in mind that Sea Urchin is about a 20 minute walk from the nearest restaurants (several of which are excellent) and shopping. Don't worry about the distance because you'll need the exercise to overcome the inertia of being in such an idyllic spot. The availability and variety of food, groceries and household supplies will vary from day to day and you won't have the choices that you may be accustomed to at home. Keep your culinary expectations realistic and you'll be fine. And don't forget to bring one or two packable day packs to bring your shopping items back.”
