My family had a wonderful time in the Log Cabin at Camp Aurora. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, had all the amenities we needed and a lovely view over the frozen lake. The location was perfect, being right next to the sauna, jacuzzi and relax room, and within easy walking distance to the lake and its fantastic igloos. We would highly recommend this camp and cabin 😊

Really a peaceful place near a frozen lake. We booked airport transport with Jaakko, and he dropped us off for shopping and recommended some activities nearby.

Everything went really well! The directions to the stay were really clear, as long as you found the right place to turn on the E75 road. The listing was exactly as described and I would stay again.

We had a great and relaxing week. Björn would be reachable in case we would have nedeed him. Nice Nordic Lights were great and the location is quiet with great ocean views and really away from everything .

We felt very comfortable in Eivinds and Kristin's house from the beginning, nothing was missing, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Communication with both was very good. We love to relax by the fireplace after a day out and were worried that the existing wood for 3 evenings is not enough. Without hesitation, Eivind activated his father and shortly after, there was an additional wooden bag outside the door. His family also surprised us with freshly roasted fish fries - a great and warm gesture! The sauna is also great and very spacious. The bed for two quite tight, soft mattress, the bedding is great and cuddly! We can fully recommend the house.

The location was beautiful and quiet. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely week with four of us at this place! The house was very clean and everything as described. The kitchen was well equipped and in the sauna you can sit next to each other with three adults. The apartment is a little off the beaten path, but after a 20-minute walk or a short drive you can reach the center of the village. But we were able to see the northern lights directly from the property twice. For a good view, however, it is worth driving to the well-known spots.

This stay was absolutely extraordinary—one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever experienced during my travels. The cabin is located right in front of a stunning fjord, offering breathtaking, unobstructed views. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by wild nature, and if you're lucky, you can even see the Northern Lights from the terrace. Occasionally, reindeer wander by, adding to the magic of the place. The accommodation was spotless and fully equipped, with a kitchen that includes an oven and stovetop, a coffee machine, fresh linens, towels, and a well-maintained bathroom. The mezzanine, sofa bed, and terrace facing the fjord make it a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The host is amazing—super available, friendly, and full of great advice about the region and nearby spots to explore. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this place 110%!

It was a great pleasure to spend the days at the cabin. The reception was super attentive, they showed us everything about the cabin and the best spots to see the Auroras, which were a show in themselves. I would recommend the cabin to those who want to have a unique but comfortable experience.

We really enjoyed our night in this amazing tiny house. This is small but every detail is well thought and it is really cozy! The jacuzzi is a real plus and it is very nice waking up in this peaceful environment all around us in the morning!

Beautiful glass ceiling igloo with wonderful views of the northern lights. Had all the amenities we needed. We loved the hot tub and the sauna. Private and peaceful. We did have trouble figuring out the ski in and out. It appears to be a half mile from the alpine slopes.

We could definitely recommend Frank's house to stay for a couple of nights. We enjoyed it, however, but we expected to see the house cleaner and tidier. We were afraid to put our things away because then we might not find them among the piles of other things all over the house. If the person who lived before you didn't wash the dishes properly, then if that's important to you, you have to wash them before using. It would be nice to have a cleaner bed with a newer blanket and pillow (even if you put clean bedding over it). After all, it's hygiene. But everything else we liked. It's a pity that we didn't make a hole to jump into the lake after the sauna, because the ice was about 1 meter thick. But we caught a fish (and let it free). We saw an incredible aurora that shone all night. Frank was very friendly. Thank you for this interesting opportunity to spend a few days on the lake in Lapland!

If you love nature with a big N, you are in the right place! at the cabin no noise, life is peaceful. We became aware of the simplicity of life here and that everything revolves around the fire and water. Despite our no experience with the fire we managed to organize ourselves even by -20 degrees. An unforgettable experience in the middle of Nature in all its splendor!

Elisabeth was flexible with the checkout time. She also greeted us when we arrived, so check in could not be easier. Communication with her was smooth as she was very friendly and responsive. Her place was very warm and cosy, with a well designed living room and open kitchen. Spotless, clean and spacious bathroom.

The location is paradise, the huts are small but functional, even for a slightly longer stay (we stayed 6 nights). We could see beautiful northern lights. If something needs to be noted, I would say it might be helpful to create a storage space under the beds so you can better store the luggage. Thank you for this great stay!

Very special little cottage with love and its very own charm of Norwegian bric-a-brac from different eras. Especially nice: fire in the oven by rain. Yoga in the sunshine on the wooden deck under the birch tree. Not so nice: the sleeping hut cannot be heated. With 2 blankets it still worked. The beds are only suitable for small people. We didn't miss electricity and the shower with water from the tank worked great.

Miika was a great host and definitely one of the most helpful people in Finland that we encountered. Place is beautiful but remote, which is perfect but there is no restaurants nearby after 6pm. Sauna and Jacuzzi were awesome and the villa is beautiful

This is a great place. Clean and tidy, with a parking spot, close to the sea. It was perfect for three birdwatchers going around the area of Varanger. Communication with host was nice and effective.

Gladly again immediately! The communication with Petra works great! She answers everything quickly and very effectively. There was also nothing missing in the accommodation at all! Everything you need is on site. Above all, we were positively surprised by the selection of available spices!:) One night we could even see the aurora lights dancing in front of the house!
