Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

In this region you can make beautiful hiking/biking/MTB trips to the Weerribben and Giethoorn but also to the Drents Friese Woud, Heerenveen Oranjewoud. Ice skating in Thialf. Rent a boat and/or go to De Lemmer to the beach. From Sonnega, all this is fine. We are open to questions.
