Quiet and clean. We had the most lovely stay. Animals are very friendly. Definitely recommended!

Amazing place, very peaceful. The hosts are incredibly nice and very helpful. We took the recommended wooden boat for a tour around the town and it was magical.

We were visiting a relative in the area. The venue suited our needs very nicely. Home from home (once we got used to the stairs). A version of the Guidance Book in English would be very useful. If we venture into Drenthe again, we will certainly look to see if Irene’s home is available.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful spacious chalet, comfortably furnished. Very quiet surroundings. For activities you had to drive something but that was also fine. On the way you can see a lot of nature and lots of animals. Check-in and communication were hassle-free. We got very quick feedback. Price-performance ratio was very good here. We loved our stay in this cute old cottage style home. It was a bit longer of a walk from parking to the home than expected , but the path was a short stroll along a lovely canal over a bridge to our destination. There were some beautiful swans greeting us and it felt very idyllic. It was a short (maybe 10 min) drive away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy traffic. We walked (maybe 5 min) along the canal path to a nice restaurant and had dinner. Eva was lovely and I would recommend her place if you are looking for the quaint feel of a traditional canal home without all the noise and foot traffic of a lot of tourists:)

A charming spot to enjoy nature and truly disconnect. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We were two couples, and while the place felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Highly recommended!
