Jihei, a single-family house in the center of Yamagata City, can accommodate up to 10 people. The first floor has a spacious living and dining room and a spacious kitchen where you can enjoy cooking. On the 2nd floor, there are 2 Japanese-style rooms with 6 tatami mats and 2 Western-style rooms with the scent of Japanese iris. You can use the whole house freely as if you were at home. Parking 🅿️ is available on the property for 2 cars. It can accommodate up to 10 people. As a base for sightseeing in Yamagata, we recommend it for long-term stays with friends and family. The downtown area and the bar area are also a 5-6 minute walk away. You can enjoy walking around the city's tourist attractions (Bunsho Museum, Kasumi Castle Park, Mogami Yoshimitsu Memorial Hall, Momiji Park). From the accommodation, you can go to Zao Onsen ♨ ️ in 25-30 minutes by car🚗, to Yama-dera Risshaku-ji Temple in 20-30 minutes, and to Ginzan Onsen ♨ ️ in 70 minutes. "Kominka Resort Nijūyonadai" is an accommodation facility where a historic kominka house, over 150 years old, has undergone minimal renovation. It is available for private rental to one group per day. The host is Yoshiro, the 24th generation head of the Urushiyama family, who was born and raised in this house. Going back in time, 420 years ago, my host's ancestor was a samurai who lived in the same era as Tokugawa Ieyasu.Vivid episodes from that time have been passed down through the generations. Dai, a Siberian Husky, is the mascot of our guest house and is very friendly.His job is to greet and see off guests.Sometimes I go for a walk with the guests.
