Beachfront holiday rentals in Tumaraa

Emplacement idyllique, au calme et très près de la ville. Accueil charmant. Le ponton privatif est un vrai plus, quel plaisir de se baigner au milieu des poissons. Nous avons vraiment passé un séjour très agréable avec une mention spéciale pour Sam le chat, si doux et si câlin.

J’ai eu l’impression d’être en vacances chez mes grands parents. Hélène et Marcel se sont montrés accueillants et ont eu de très bons conseils sur les activités à faire sur Tahaa. La location du vélo a été un vrai plus !!!

Tama's place is a gem in Taha'a. He will make sure your journey to and from the airbnb is smooth. The bungalow is a cozy retreat after a day out. We enjoyed the view and amazing sunrises. Access to the pontoon is a nice touch where we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner add-on (good chef!). Tama is a wealth of information on all things to do and eat in Taha'a. Recommend activities with Tama if you can - snorkeling and motu visit was amazing!

You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

La Sun House est un super endroit pour une connexion à la nature, à la terre et à la mer que je recommande chaudement. Les hôtes sont chaleureux et accueillants, toujours avec le sourire ☀️ Petit bonus pour le spot incroyable de snorkelling où l'on a pu observer raies, tortues de très près ! 🐢

We had a wonderful stay with Guillaume and his family. We were picked up at the boat dock and taken for a short tour of the area where they live. We loved the views from their deck of the lagoon. Guillaume was very responsive before and during our trip, he made sure we had everything we needed. It was great to have a comfortable bed and A/C for sleeping. Their place was across the street from a nice beach and snack shack, and walkable to other places nearby. Thank you Guillaume and family for a great time in Bora Bora!!

The private beach and swimming area was stunning! Beautiful, white sand and clear turquoise water. Only a few steps from our bungalow. A few restaurants you can walk to but our favorite was right next door. It was excellent and a varied menu. Prices were reasonable and a lot less than the resort restaurants. No air conditioning but we survived with the fan. Bungalow is small but worked for us. We made our lunches at home as there is a small fridge. Our room was cleaned everyday and beach towels were available for us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We speak some French so we were fine but everyone speaks English. Super market across the street. Went on a fantastic snorkeling and island tour. Loved everything! Don’t hesitate unless you absolutely have to have AC. We sat on the beach in the evening where there was a cool breeze.

The hose JV was excellent. Very prompt responses, very accommodating, and the place was amazing. We changed our plans and booked this place last minute and they responded quickly, proactively made reservations at a nearby restaurant, and were very accommodating to our requests. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the island. It’s very chic, has everything you need, and was incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect place to end our time in French Polynesia.

We stayed at Clements place for a couple nights, it was so peaceful and beautiful. Each cabana has a good amount of privacy. The little sun decks are nice next to the pool. We ate both the dinner and the breakfast and it was really good. Clement was always responsive and helpful, he greeted us and showed us the property and even gave us a last minute dinner which was so kind after a very long travel day. The photos are nice but it looks even better in person. Definitely recommend renting a car, there are bikes you can use on the property but if you want to see more of the island a car is your best option.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec de délicates attentions, et tout au long du séjour, l’échange a été fluide et chaleureux. Le logement était impeccable, parfaitement équipé, et que dire de la vue… Juste à couper le souffle ! Entre la piscine, le snorkeling à portée de main et le cadre paradisiaque, tout était réuni pour un séjour inoubliable. Nous recommandons à 1000% et espérons revenir un jour. Merci encore ! Nathalie, Tapu and their daughter are super nice and friendly, they did their best to accommodate my baby and I during our stay. The bedroom is private from the house with a very nice bathroom, it has also amenities such as a fridge, a microwave and the possibility to warm up water. They also have a nice swimming pool which is perfect at the end of a warm day! They are adorable and I would definitely stay there again!

Jenny et Bruno nous ont proposé d’organiser les transports A/R depuis l’aéroport de Raiatea pour rejoindre leur pension, (2 taxis et 1 bateau), ça simplifie la vie ! Bon accueil, bonnes adresses, bon séjour, merci !

Communication was excellent. We arrived by flight, had a rental car and took the quick 5 min drive over. Sam was there, who lives on the property. He got us situated, even offered to let us borrow the kayak to go out into the lagoon, and found some snorkels for us to use! We had a nice short stay in Bora Bora, and everything was so close. My wife wasn't feeling well and we had an afternoon flight out, and with rain all day, there wasn't much for us to do, so with a flexible check-out we were able to let her rest and I took the kids down the road to the yellow food truck Kai Kai. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

One of those places where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. An unforgettable stay for the whole family that will remain long as oustanding souvenir. Kids loved jumping in the water from the pier just across the road, easy ride to the shop by bike to get a fresh baguette in the morning, and so much to see and do around the island! You can go there eyes closed for a great stay, we would love to come back some time in the future!

Anaïs et Grégory sont des hôtes parfaits. Le logement est très bien situé. Les velos mis à disposition sont un réel plus. Merci pour votre gentillesse, votre disponibilité et vos conseils.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Cathy. La maison est très agréable. Le temps n’était pas de la partie alors nous n’avons pas pu nous promener en kayak jusqu’au motu proposé par notre hôte. La literie était très confortable et la cuisine très bien équipée. Le jardin, la terrasse et le ponton sont très bien aménagés. La maison est bien sécurisée. Les nombreuses roulottes ainsi que les commerces sont à proximité. Le soir, les raies et les requins à taches noirs (inoffensifs) passent devant le bungalow. Un vrai spectacle!!! Bref! Que des compliments sur ce lieu et cette hôtesse.

Patrice et Sophie sont d’adorables hôtes attentionnés. Nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison dès l’arrivée sur l’île grâce a un super accueil. La logement est immergé dans un cadre idyllique et authentique loin des tumultes de la ville. À recommander (et à refaire!😁) les yeux fermés! Maruuru Sof & Pat, et peut être à une prochaine!

Un logement impeccable, neuf, propre et très bien équipé, la litterie est plus que confortable, digne d'un hôtel de luxe, on a dormi comme des bebes, le linge de maison sentait trop bon. Décoré avec goût, les petits details qui font toute la différenceet justifie son prix, tout était réuni pour passer un excellent séjour malgré le mauvais temps. Petit plus pour l'accueil polynésien on se sent tout de suite très à l'aise. Nous qui avons également un rbnb sur Raiatea, on recommande fortement ce logement. Si on devait trouver quelque chose a dire, ça serait l'orientation du bungalow vers la montagne au lieu de la mer. Mais on y reviendra en famille cette fois-ci.
