Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquillity, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Experience authentic farming culture in an original charming halling cottage. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and cook on a wood stove if you want. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of space to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby include Nesfjellet alpine, golf, Nystølkroken café, Langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few kilometres by car.

In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

From our Airbnb you have a short distance to popular attractions such as Norway's longest bike path, Bjørneparken animal park, the Predator Center and many fishing opportunities both in Krøderen and in mountain lakes. You are welcome to stay privately at our home. We give you a simpler alternative. Here there is plenty of room for 2 people. Possibility for 4, but then you will have to sleep in the living room. Large terrace and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna in a separate annex. Great hiking opportunities all year round. High standard ski slopes. Several trout waters nearby.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
