Book this place! Everything was so nice spacious and clean! The host is super sweet and helpful. Any questions she responded quickly. Place as pictured. We will definitely book again!

Audrey and her husband were awesome hosts! I was not sure how long we needed to stay and when our reservation ran out we were able to stay without any interuption until we were able to close on our home. They allowed us to park our Uhaul on site (a big deal!) which saved us time trying to find storage. The day after we arrived, they came over to meet us and tell us about the area. The cottage was clean, equipped and safe. The antique furnishings in the cottage are fabulous...i cant imagine the stories they have to tell! The wildlife is abundant along with the farm life; cattle, geese, chickens, cats, fish, etc. You'll never have a dull moment at the Ranch Hand Cottage! We were blessed to have 2 new calfs born while we were there. If you want to get out of the city or share the country with your city friends, this is THE place! Poplarville is such a cute town, like a step back in time. I will be recommending Audrey and her cottage to anyone that wants to stay in the area.

This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway. The property is beautiful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The tub and deck were our favorite parts of the trip. Highly recommend for a relaxing trip.

Though it’s not far from home, the sounds of crickets and bullfrogs made it feel like I’d stepped into another world. It was the perfect little escape. The cabin was spotless—truly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the craftsmanship of the cabin itself was so fun to admire. There’s a lot of heart in this place, and you can feel it. One of the most special moments for me was watching my son’s black lab enjoy the creek. I lost my son in 2020, and seeing her so happy brought a little light to my heart. Everything was thoughtfully prepared—clear instructions, no need to reach out for anything. Laura had it all taken care of. I’m already looking forward to coming back for another soul-soothing getaway close to home.

We stayed here for a girls trip. We had plenty of room and loved the seclusion of the property. The house is great with everything you will need to make your stay wonderful. We really liked the outdoorsy decor and felt like we were in the mountains. We will be back to enjoy during the warmer months. Thank you for a great place to relax and have fun.

We loved that my family could stay together while visiting extended family in MS. Beautiful home and very well maintained. The ‘wet room’ bath and shower was a lovely surprise! Water pressure and how quickly the water heated was amazing! We will definitely book again! Dora and Stephanie were extremely helpful and responsive!
