Holiday rentals in Tysslingen

This is the second time we stayed in Monika's and Erik's cabin. The cabin is super nice. Well equipped with quality appliances and all is working well. It is also very clean. The fire place and the sauna are great on colder days, the large veranda on sunny days. The area is super calm and peaceful. We preferred staying close and enjoyed the nearby nature. But there is also a lot to do within short driving distance. All in all, we enjoyed our second stay and are looking forward to the third.

A great and tidy accommodation. The hosts responded quickly to questions. Bonus was homey eggs upon arrival. Quiet environment and soothing view of the lake. Recommended 😊

What a location!! Perfect hideaway for the most relaxing time, away from everyone and everything. We absolutely loved our stay. The panoramic sauna & enormous jacuzzi were a dream. We love cooking & the kitchen had everything we needed, wíth the most amazing views on the lake. As a music lover it was very nice to find high quality Sonos speakers throughout the house. Daniel answered every question we had immediately. And his father welcomed us very kindly. Great place to stay!

Unique location by a beautiful lake, modern really nice cabin that had everything you could want and then some. Clear and easy instructions on everything you need. We are more than happy to return here. Maria as a host responds quickly, is very nice and helpful. Recommenders highly!

This was the second time we visited the cabin and it was just as good as last time. Quiet and nice surroundings and also a great host family. The best thing about the stay was the walk to Toften where we bathed in the lake and warmed ourselves in the wood-fired sauna!

Super nice apartment and the area is quiet. However, it is easy to go to the city, you have to have a car. They welcomed cats which was good. Our cat (and we) really enjoyed checking out the lovely nature around the apartment.

Cottage Gwen is equipped with all comforts, everything has been thought of. Nicely decorated and clean! There is plenty to do outside for children: large trampoline, hammock, toys and of course the canoes! The lake is really close by, you can also swim there. Inside, there is also plenty of entertainment for games and toys. The area is quiet and you can walk nearby nicely. Great place!

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!
