Come here if you want a real Mongolian Kazakh experience. This is not a tourist company with fancy stuff that will over charge you. You will stay in a Khasha (Kazakh for property) that has two families but you will have your two room house to stay in. The property is about a fifteen minute walk from the town square. I can help you find trips to Tauvanbogd, Tsambagarav, or the countryside villages. I make excellent Kazakh food too! Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request. See you soon!
“Sophia was not only am amazing host, she is the sweetest person and she helped to coordinate any experience I wanted to have in the area. In her off time, she's a tour guide and she used that experience and her personal connections to make sure I had the most amazing time in Western Mongolia. I was seated next to a guide from one of the companies on my plane ride back to UB and when I told the guide what Sophia made possible for me, the guide said that was a once in a lifetime experience, because the companies don't make the trips as personal as Sophia did for me. There aren't enough words of gratitude I can't express to her!!!! I highly recommend staying with her and having her show you everything Western Mongolia has to offer... If there were 20 stars, I'd give them!!!!”
Hello, my name is Dauren. Welcome to Westernmost part of Mongolia. Home for local khazakh people. Here it is possible to see ancient culture, nomadic lifestyle, Tuva troat singer and eagle hunters. The Altai Tavan Bogd National park and a lot of beautiful places that you should visit in Bayan-Olgii. My place is close to downtown, it's about 5 minut , and market, museum restaurant all close to each other. contact me, i always happy to show all the best of Western Mongolia.
“You would be hard-pressed to find a better experience and place to stay in Ulgii--Dauren and his family are not only remarkably kind and willing to help with any additional needs, such as rides and recommendations, but the ger itself is beautiful and ensures you will have both an authentic and comfortable trip. We had such a great time staying here during the Eagle Festival. Thank you so much, Dauren!”
My place is close to the city center, restaurants, art shops, markets and supermarkets. It is furnished with very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, clean and tidy bathroom with washing machine. You’ll love my place because of the location.
“I chose this place due to its very close proximity to the Blue Wolf travel company. I had arrived a day early for my tour to the Altai Eagle Festival. I only had to walk 5 minutes to Blue Wolf. I suggest to anyone planning a visit to the Altai Eagle or Golden Eagle Festivsl to stay here. It is clean and nicely furnished. It is a much better deal than the hotels in town. Unlike the ger camps, the apartment affords you warmth, private bathroom, hot shower, numerous electrical outlets, stocked kitchen, and lightning-fast WiFi connection. Pyerizat (Pika) can assist you with getting Festival tickets. After the Festival, ask Pika (who also runs a family based tour company) to set you up for overnight stays with a nomadic Eagle Hunter family (in a tent or family ger). You will get a much more intimate experience than at the Festival. Photographers will especially appreciate the opportunities for private photo shoots of the hunter and eagle. Pika can be your English speaking guide and cook your meals (her vegetarian dishes are delicious). Rest assured that Pika will not pressure you in using her company's services when you book your AirBnB apartment.”
