Simple and peaceful accommodation with a central location. Cabin for rent of about 50 m2. The place is majestically located in Nord-Aurdal municipality on top of Fødnesvegen. You get the feeling of being "alone in the whole world" despite 7 minutes to Fagernes town. Mindfulness. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is electricity and wood burning. There is one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from the parking space to the cabin. Wild, beautiful and steep! Cabin with great views. Great natural surroundings with good hiking opportunities. Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

Skiing, dog-sleighing, rafting, bicycling, horse-back riding, bowling and hiking. The hut is on the doorstep of Hardangervidda National Park. Personalized interior. Accessible by car during summer, and winter on a snow-ploughed private road. 4x4 recommended during winter. Bed linen and towels included!

A great place for winter and summer activities: Cross country slopes and sleding hill just outside the door, ski lifts 10 min away, cycling and hiking routes, nearby mountain farms, swim in rivers, canoo available, etc. Eating chair, changing table and sleeping bed for babies/small children available.

Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Koselig kårstue på gård. Huset er bygget i 1905 og har interiør fra århundreskiftet til ca 1970. Store, lyse og luftige soverom i 2.etasje. Kjøkken og stue med vedovn og kamin i 1.etasje. Huset ligger like ved Hallingdalselva med flotte bade- og fiskemuligheter. Du kan låne robåt eller kanoer. Vi snakker norsk, engelsk og spansk.
