Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Ulster

This was my second time getting to stay at this lovely estate, and it was even more of a lovely time than the last. I got to bring my partner along for this trip, and she was just as captivated by the home and the family as I was. There are countless portraits and old photographs on the walls telling the stories of who has lived in and around Annaghmore. Durcan and Nicola are fantastic hosts and consistently checked in on us to make sure we were content each day. The wood oven in their sun room was easy to use and kept us very warm. The library is impeccable, so many interesting books from numerous periods. Their five pups also completely steal the show, with how well they behave and how eager they are to please. Teeps in particular loves to present you with stones, sticks, or leaves from around Annaghmore, and their tails are always wagging faster than you can imagine. They also recently got a new bed for the guest room, and it was SO comfortable. A great stay, all around!

I stayed here on a work visit . Very warm and welcoming home . Catherine Is just lovely to deal with. Catherine made me a super vegetarian breakfast the next morning, it was sooo nice ! Catherine is Super friendly and helpful . Will most definately be returning if working up this way in the future. Thanks for the wonderful stay ☺️

A great 2 nights with Raymie. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The space was perfect. Cushendall full of good people and good pubs. The surrounding countryside is staggeringly beautiful We are planning a return visit!

Ken was really helpful and friendly. The house is warm and comfortable, the fixtures and fittings are very high quality and the rooms are really well sound insulated. Awesome place, would definitely recommend.

Excellent place! Géraldine's welcome was perfect. The bedding is extremely comfortable which is not negligible! We ate at the Pub which is a few minutes walk from the house. Great fish&chips! Excellent location to shine in the beautiful region!

Louise was a very sweet host, gave directions to the place and also a "housetour". The breakfast included in the stay was comprehensive and yummy, we were definately not left hungry! She also would've let us extend our check-out time if we would've needed to. Room was clean, nothing to really point out :).

Really great stay in a great area. Close to the portrush town centre and in walking distance to everywhere. Karen was really helpful in checking in/out and provided a very pleasant experience. Would certainly recommend.

Great bed and breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean with amazing views down to the sea. Great welcome by the hosts and their adult children. The hosts went out of their way to help us with a baby need with our 17 month old. Breakfast was great!!! Thank you!

The perfect B&B if you have a wedding to attend at Ballymagarvey. Directly across the street. Clean, comfortable, and extremely accommodating. Anne is a gem and all you could as for from a host. Great fry up the night after drinking and dancing. Can't recommend highly enough!

What a fantastic find …..host spot on helpful and puts herself out for you breakfast was a huge choice of fruit cereal toast croissants, eggs, fresh orange, fresh coffee tea really enjoyed last day would definitely definitely stop again

I highly recommend this place!! Eimear was a very friendly & kind host! She was very accommodating as we arrived late, due to some travel complications we had before arriving there. She stayed up late, & kindly greeted us & showed us to our room when we arrived. Her home was lovely! Out in the beautiful countryside, very peaceful & safe. The rooms we used were very clean, tastefully decorated, & comfortable. She had a delicious Irish breakfast in the dining room for us of hot teas, a variety of breads & jams, yogurt, granola, milk & juice. She had a printed up paper of things to do in the area, complete with pubs & restaurants. We went to 2 of the locations... the Tullan Strand beach & the waterfalls.. we enjoyed both of them! She also has the most adorable little dog over in her part of the house.. which we loved!

Great location, stayed for a wedding in the Sligo Park across the road, only 5minute walk. Everything was lovely including a nice breakfast the next morning.

Audrey was a great host! The place was immaculate and within walking distance to the town! Would stay here again! Breakfast was also delicious 😋

Kathleen and chad were great hosts and helped us with our requirements for visiting this part of beautiful Donegal. We will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

If you need a place to stay in this area of N.Ireland I highly recommend staying at Shanvey house. We were attending a wedding whilst also celebration a milestone birthday within the family and Jill went above and beyond in helping make both occasions feel really special. From allowing us to visit before we stayed, to organising rooms, to making suggestions of local restaurants to finally organising a Birthday BBQ (food was absolutely beautiful) to coordinating delivery of birthday decorations. Jill helped us make sure all elements where planned and organised. This meant that our stay was super enjoyable knowing all was in hand. The house is beautiful and the rooms are impressively dress with stunning views. We felt very much at home with a delicious choice of breakfasts each morning. Jill looks after us incredibly well whilst also giving us space to celebrate as a family together (which we don't get to do that often) No request was too small for Jill! Highly recommend!

Geraldine offers a great breakfast with a wide selection. The rooms are large, well equipped and cleaned daily. The area has a lot to offer and Geraldine is happy to give excursion tips. We recommend the place without reservation.

We had such a great time staying with Siubhan and Owen! We felt like we were staying with family. The view from the house is stunning. They let us know about all of the sights to see and great food in the area. There's so much to do here, but the best thing you can do in Killybegs is stay with Siubhan and Owen.

Elizabeth and Clint were fabulous hosts! They were very friendly and welcoming, and gave us many tips on local places and things to see. The room was so cozy and the view was amazing from their beautiful home! The home cooked breakfast was better than any 5* restaurant! We highly recommend staying with Elizabeth and Clint!

We spent our last night in Ireland at Sean's house. We were tired and were thankful they were willing to allow us to come an hour early. The room is lovely and comfortable

We spent a few days at Alison's place with our two young daughters. The stay was excellent. Alison and her husband welcomed us warmly and were always responsive in answering our questions and giving us advice. The girls really enjoyed the very well-equipped playground. The welcome basket with farm products and breakfast items was a nice touch. We were able to take a short boat trip directly from the port (you might see some seals and, if you're lucky, some dolphins). We highly recommend it.
