Sunnanäng Hilltop - cozy with amazing views

It's easy to thrive here! The bed is freshly made with sheets when you arrive and clean towels are provided. This is a truly cosy 27-square-metre cottage with a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, as well as a 29-square-metre veranda offering stunning views of Lake Siljan. The cottage is located on a private plot (5,000 m²) in the beautiful village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located along Lake Siljan, 10 minutes to central Leksand and just as close to Tällberg. There are nice walking paths along Lake Siljan nearby, both in summer and winter.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay next to Lake Rämen. Close to Gyllbergen nature reserve with hiking trails and a convenient distance to Romme Alpin. In the area, there are nice nature trails and a swimming area. The cottage has access to its own rowing boat and sauna. Two bedrooms, one has a 180 cm wide double bed (2 x 90) with full bed mattress and the other has a bunk bed where the upper bed is 80 cm wide and the lower bed is 120 cm wide, which makes it possible for two people to sleep there.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. A house of 94 m² located in the middle of nature, open to guests all year round. It is only 8–9 km from Romme Alpin, making it perfect for skiers and winter lovers. The accommodation has an ideal location, about as close to both Borlänge and Ludvika. Swimming and fishing opportunities are within easy walking distance. Skiing, rest and community in the same place. There are 6 regular beds (one double bed and four single beds) and the possibility of two additional beds on a sofa bed.

Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
