Peaceful home in the trees. The home had a lot of nice touches that made us feel at home. Walking to the lake was a wonderful way to start our day. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The house in the trees was a beautiful escape from city life and only minutes from great restaurants and stores in Bellingham. It felt like we were miles from civilization. The lake was perfect for paddleboarding, serene and calm. We chose to drive to the public beach as we were worried the electric pump for our paddle boards would annoy the neighbors at the closer neighborhood beach. The neighbors are very 'observant', had a few odd interactions, but nothing serious. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very cute, the deck was a dream, snipped a few chives from the garden for my eggs one morning! I would definitely stay here again; it seems like a great place to write a book. Hosts were very kind and went above and beyond with the minor snafus at check-in. LOTS of animals to see and hear from the deck space - we spent a lot of time out there, even in the rain!
