We had a lovely stay. The space was exactly as pictured, cozy and welcoming. Hosts were responsive, easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations. Location was walkable to lots of shops, restaurants and bakeries. If you are there on a Saturday the donuts at Frosted Flour are amazing!

Be warned that the trains run all night long, blow their horn when passing through, and it is quite loud in the bedroom. While my daughter managed to sleep through most of it, I did not. Ear plugs might help some people.

Otherwise it was a lovely and peaceful place.

Wir hatten ein paar wunderbare Tage in der Unterkunft von Heather. Die Wohnung ist klein aber fein und wir haben uns gleich zuhause gefühlt. Es war gemütlich, sauber und hatte alles was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war auch schnell und ausführlich. Die Restaurantempfehlungen waren sehr hilfreich.

We stayed at Nicole and Heather's Coach House for three nights.

Communication was excellent as soon as we booked. They were very welcoming and sent a link to their guide book, which listed things to do, places to visit, restaurants and wineries in the area, etc.

The Coach House could have been a little hard to locate, but thanks to their great instructions, we had no problem finding it, and the personalized door code made it easy to check in at any time.

The location is great. Port Hope is a cute town with a nice historic main street, and lots of historic homes. There were good hiking trails, the salmon ladder, and wineries and bakeries (We would highly recommend Betty's Pies & Tarts), in the area.

The Coach House is decorated really nicely, and the kitchen was completely stocked with everything that you need to cook.

The bathroom is small, but has everything you need. We had a problem with the dryer, and Heather came out and fixed it for us.

We enjoyed our stay!

Underwhelmed and disappointed. Upon arrival there was unwashed laundry in the bathroom, the bathroom sink was dirty, and the toilet was left unflushed.... I sent these concerns that the cleaning didn't appear to have been completed to Heather immediately and did not receive any response or acknowledgement and we stayed for 2 nights. The only messages I received were a generic hello and goodbye. As we continued to utilize the space we noticed more and more things unclean like kitchen items, dusty areas, hair balls, stained sheets but did not bring attention to the hosts as it seemed pointless. I get that mistakes happen so I understand not everything is always perfect but my main problem is with the lack of communication. I've used Airbnb for 8 years all 5 stars reviews, and this is the first Airbnb to disregard my concerns and completely ignore them, do not recommended. I respect spaces I stay in but expect the same respect back and basic needs to be met.
