The cabin felt very cozy and was like being at home! It’s perfect for the fall season, especially if you’re looking to get away for a little bit. Be warned, it’s chilly up here! So, dress warm.

Such a beautiful place for a family getaway. Private and relaxing but easy drive into Lake Placid.

I'll start with the list of "down falls", since it is incredibly short. I was not aware when we got there that the heat would be off. It was quite chilly, but the heater warmed it up quick and we did appreciate the additional heater in the downstairs bedroom. The only other "negative" I have to report is the lack of comfortable seating in the living room. Its not unbearable, or a big deal if you are there for hiking and sight seeing and don't plan on sitting around much.

The list of everything we loved is almost endless. The location is beautiful and made for great morning walks with my dog. It was very clean. It was loaded with towels, extra blankets and sheets. The washer and dryer alone WITH DETERGENT is a fabulous addition. It is absolutely loaded with amenities. The kitchen has every plate, utensil, gadget you could need. The bathroom has absolutely everything as well - soaps, tooth brushes, q tips, etc. I could go on but Id run out of characters!

Incredible experience, no complaints whatsoever. Host was incredibly proactive and made it clear that they were available should we need anything - which we didn’t due to everything being so great, matching the description perfectly and then some.
