Amazing place to stay for a few days on Santa Maria Island! The hike up to the house is a little bit hard (with heavy bags) but we expected that, so no worries! The house is small but very cozy! The house and the bed are tiny but the view from the terrasse and the vineyards landscape around are great ! It’s amazing to be so quiet and only 10mn walking from a huge beach. We will remember for a long time of our too short stay in Joao’s house !

Located high above the São Lourenco beach, is 'Casa da Fajazinha', a cozy small house with an amazing view. The house has all the amenities you need, fridge, internet, shower, etc. There is a great patio. Access to the house requires walking up hill for 5-10 min but it is well worth it. Sehr schön gelegenes kleines Haus, mitten in den Weinbergen. Der Aufstieg ist wie beschrieben schwerlich aber nicht wild. Die Hütte ist traumhaft gemütlich aber wirklich sehr klein. Auch das Bett ist für zwei Personen sehr klein. Die Küche gut eingerichtet und alles ist Tip Top sauber.

This is the perfect place to “get away from it all” The space is very cozy and was super clean! The patio is a wonderful place to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Wir waren jetzt schon das zweite mal hier. Einmal im Mai und einmal Ende November/Dezember. Wir kommen gerne nochmal im Sommer um diese schöne Insel in ihrer vollen Pracht zu bestaunen und natürlich auch um Joao und Paula in ihrem wunderschönen Häuschen zu beuchen.

Joao and Paula were very hospitable hosts, always ready to help. They gave us precise directions how to get to their house, free parking next to the place. Room was clean with a private bathroom and big nice terrace. I highly reccommend this place!

Данное жилье замечательное, нам все очень понравилось! Хозяева очень приветливы и общительны. Без труда встретили нас, не смотря на то, что мы приехали поздно ночью. В доме все чисто. В этом доме действительно окунаешься в быт португальской семьи. Хозяева всегда помогали, если было, что нужно. С удовольствием вернемся еще раз! =)
