This is definitely the place to stay in Agra. The bnb was absolutely gorgeous, the food was plentiful and amazing and the hosts even organised us a takeaway breakfast for the next day as we had to leave for a very early train. It was such a shame to only have one night here because it was a stunning place to stay and felt very safe and homely. As a bonus it's only a 10 minute walk to the taj mahal :)

My experience with Lakehouse Home Stay was simply amazing. I'll try to describe my experience in detail from start to finish. Booking and Checkin: Anuj was extremely helpful even before booking the property, he cleared all my doubts with fast responses and since the price was fluctuating he assisted me to book at the right time so that I get the best price. I booked the place for 1 guest and at the last moment on the same morning of Checkin, a friend of mine decided to join me and Anuj was quick in assisting me to change the reservation details. He provided me with Prakash's number (Care taker of the property) in advance so that I could contact him to guide us to the property. Upon reaching, Prakash helped us with the luggage since you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the property as mentioned in the description and let me tell you that 150 stair climb is so worth it when you witness the view from the balcony. Location: The property is perfectly situated, it's right above the mall road so you get a great view of the lake, at the same time it's high enough that you can stay in peace away from the busy mall road. Stay: The property is spacious and can easily accommodate a family of 4-5. Washrooms are clean and well maintained, a geyser is installed in the kitchen and has connections to the bathroom as well if you need warm water, there is also a dedicated kitchen space however not furnished, if you're carrying your own cooking equipment then make use of it by all means. Apart from the property, Prakash was very helpful and always available when needed. He can cook you meals on demand although they can be slightly expensive I'd say, we got 1 Maggi and 1 bread Omelette prepared and it cost us ₹250 but it's worth it considering that Prakash is available at all times for requests like these. He also offered to re-heat any type of take away food that we get packed from a restaurant or collect any order that we want to get delivered since the property is situated 150 stairs above the mall road and delivery guy will not deliver it at your door step. (Of course we didn't ask him to do all this but it was amazing to see that he himself offered us this favor). The complimentary breakfast was great. First day we got Aalu Choley (Potatoe with chick peas) and Poori with Tea/coffee on the side. The next day we got stuffed parathas and poha along with tea/coffee. I almost forgot that main attraction of this place is the Balcony swing that you can chill on in the night or during the day it's just that good combined with the beautiful view. Also, a good wifi connection is available if you need to use it for your office needs. Checkout: I wasn't feeling well on the day of checkout and it was nice to see that Prakash didn't rush us for the checkout and at the same time was kind enough to hold our luggage bags with him for us to pick up later. If that wasn't enough he also dropped the luggage to us downstairs at the mall road when we were leaving the town. Also during the stay it was nice to see that Anuj also messaged to check on us if everything is going well and if we were comfortable. Overall, I'm really happy with the place and if you can manage the stairs then I'd recommend this property 10/10. P.S. If you have rented a vehicle or have one of your own you can also reach the property from one road above as mentioned in the description, it's much more convenient than climbing 150 stairs.

Well what an incredible homestay experience! We felt right at home from the beginning, what a beautiful place they have created. Her family are very friendly and engaging! The rooms were very creative with their lighting, and the home cooked food by Ranjana and her friends was second to none. My sister was quoted in saying “it was the best curry she’s ever had in her life” the rooftop terrace is exceptional and their TukTuk drive Babloo was first class! He rescued us from the main road where our Uber dropped us off. Can be a little difficult to find from the main road but apart from that, what an amazing place, friendly, flexible, attentive and lovely kind people? What more could you need. Thank you Ranjana and family, we might well be back one day!!

ur stay in Trivida cannot be explained in a few words . It was magical , healing and full of warmth . From the time I connected with the host Meeta I knew there was something special about her and her place . I felt very welcomed and safe as I was booking a room in someone's home . The journey to reach Trivida was exciting and full of raw nature and meandering Alaknanda till Karn Prayag followed by Pindar till Tharali . The stops on the way were breathtakingly beautiful as well , mostly suggested by Meeta , the food at these places were also really good . The home is few steps up hill as already mentioned in the Information hence we packed lighter . There was a porter who lifted the luggage so it was not too much of a hassle . The home is extremely beautifully designed and warm with the most beautiful curated items . The first floor was given to us , with the private terrace . Prithviraj is a great host! He was always available to us, catering to our every comfort, and giving very helpful recommendations. He arranged for a driver to pick us up from the station and take us to his house in the middle of the night! The place is so un-Delhi like peaceful, we slept like babies. The food prepared by the Prithviraj's staff was amazing! Every meal was a delight, and the staff ladies are so kind, always with a smile! The balcony for relaxing is just amazing - a piece of paradise! The room was comfotable and so was the king size bed.

Ayays facility, a comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay in the center of the city.

Positives: We stayed at this apartment with toddlers. The apartment is located close to many amenities such as a grocery shop at 200m distance. The host is very responsive and helpful. Quality of furnishings in the apartment is of average quality but adequate. Downsides: The power backup is meager with 3 hours of few fans/light. During our stay power outage was frequent in the entire neighborhood and we were left without electricity for many hours. Note that arriving at the apartment after 11PM is a bit of a hassle since the main gate of the colony is closed and you have to navigate an alternate path than what is shown by Google maps. Finding taxis in this area are a problem since it is on the border of two states and taxis avoid having to pay cross-border tax.

It is a fantastic place with very warm people. Devika Aunty is an amazing woman who has created a magical corner surrounded by hills. Her charming cottage is decorated with peach plants, blooming hydrengeas and hemmed by lovely pink climbing rose vines. Her staff is caring and take great effort to make the guests feel comfortable. Every meal we had here is a memory to cherish - from bengali luchis to pahadi rajma and ragi roti. It is a place to relax and reflect, a slice of good life that we all chase put together affectionately by the incredible Devika Aunty.

Blissful & calm Close to nature & the best part is river ganges flowing in the back just at walking distance

Danish has been our host for two times and he just make us feel so comfortable and at home.Always active and helps if any issue comes up .

Chef , Ganga Ram was really nice , made excellent breakfast and provided the best service, always smiling and friendly.

I stayed at Pravin ji's home while I was there on a work visit and it was the best decision I took. Travelling alone, I felt right at home with Pravin and Anjoo ji's warm hospitality and their extremely comfortable home. The best locality in New Delhi- very safe, accessible, green, close to the Lodhi gardens and the IHC as also all the tourist spots, yet very homely. The room had everything I needed and more, spic and span and furnished beautifully. The best part about my visit was the wonderfully caring nature of Pravin and Anjoo ji each day, especially as I was travelling alone. I felt so much at home and can't thank them enough for this. I enjoyed the conversations over breakfast as much as the breakfast. The chole and the home made pickles were delightful and they were very kind to offer me dinner the day I came. I was travelling for work but it felt like I was coming back home, each day :)

Ideallic heaven is really a paradise . Starting from the trek downhill where you get spectacular view of the mountains and the clouds passing , next comes the welcome drink which was relishing and gave the beginning taste of their super 5star hospitality . The way Pawan bhaiya received us with a bright smile made us felt like home and the little cute kids there were the best company we had , not to forget a fur ball doggy Ghumroo who was very friendly. The food served was very delicious and on time. Pawan bhaiya was very helpful and took utmost care of our food needs. The walk around the village and the the people there felt like home . Didn't feel like leaving that place . But would definitely make a trip there soon with a longer stay . 😇

We had a wonderful stay at Karan's place. It is away from the usual tourist hubs within a short driving distance to Sattal and Bhimtal and has a great view of the valley from the terrace and balcony, which are open to guests. The caretaker, Mr Saraj was very polite and attentive to all our requests and Karan kindly provided an early check in. The room was clean and comfortable.

Shashi has one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in. 1) The room is spacious with a living room .There is also a small nook in the living room, with mattress and cushions on the floor. 2) The ambience of the entire place is truly a standout feature. Balcony is a great place to relax with amazing lightning, clean air and flower plants. 3) Food: You can order food using a menu which will be in the living room. Shashi is a great cook, so you can enjoy good home made food. You don't feel the need to go out for dining.. There is also a kitchen with induction and basic utensils for cooking. 4) The room ensures your privacy as it is situated on the 1st floor with a separate staircase. Lastly, Shashi is a great host. She is very warm, friendly and pro-active. Also enjoyed our time with cloud(dog). Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Our stay at Vara was like a second home admist lush green forests. Dr. Vishal was an excellent host and made us feel comfortable at all times. Their beautiful home is equipped with all amenities, and their cook Bablu served us with delicious homely meals that were enjoyed equally by us and our toddler. Our stay was short but certainly rejuvenated us, and we will miss waking up to pristine sunshine, cool breeze and melodies of birds and river. We look forward to our return to this lovely place.

We had a great time at Abhishek’s Pandora Homestay. Abhishek provided us with all the necessary details and a lot of information about Agra and nearby places and things to do during our stay which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend Pandora Homestay to anyone who is looking for a place just 15 minutes by drive to Taj Mahal but away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

My stay at Pratik’s property in Nainital was extremely wonderful. The scenic views from the property were really mesmerising and beautiful giving a peaceful and calmness vibe. Pratik was very helpful in everything we asked for and is really a great host. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting nainital and looking for a property at a peak with worth-wile views.

Neeraj and his wife are extremely nice and well mannered people. Neeraj is a well deserved superhost and he is always ready with a smile to help. Extremely clean place and has all the amenities required. I would always prefer this place. Kudos to them.....

Getting there: We travelled from Noida and the road that leads to the place is steep but easily drivable. I recommend to contact hosts in advance and understand the exact location The place: This is one of the most thoughtfully constructed property that I have lived. The host is an architect and this property seems his passion project. There are a lot of wow elements. The kitchen is high quality, the common area is amazing, the natural light is great and the place just feels like jewel. I would specially like to mention about Rohit, the care taker who is courteous, very punctual and kind. I would recommend that you take meals in-house because it is cooked in front of you and tastes amazing. There are beautiful trails to walk and we even walked down to Sattal which was challenging but fun and I would 10/10 recommend everyone to try that. I would definitely visit again and thanks to Ashok for opening up this property for otehr guests to enjoy.
