Holiday rentals in Val Verde

Highly recommended place! We stayed for 3 nights with my wife and 3 teenage kids. For all of us is was the first time in LA, so this place was the perfect location: close to LAX, close to the beach, close to a number of cosy and tasty restaurants. We appreciated the cleanliness, clear communication and the amenities provided. The garage was a plus! The beds are comfy, but if you are a light sleeper make sure to bring earplugs as you do the planes from LAX. Thank you for letting us stay in your place!

We had a fantastic stay—our kids absolutely loved it and begged to stay longer every single day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, with gorgeous morning strolls and stunning evening sunsets. We especially appreciated that it was dog-friendly—the built-in dog door in the bedroom was such a thoughtful detail, letting our pup come and go without waking us. After full days of kayaking around the Channel Islands, relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The kitchen was fully stocked for home-cooked meals, and the welcome snacks were a lovely touch. We also loved not having to pack beach gear—the hosts had everything covered: toys, canopy, towels, you name it. Everything was spotless and well maintained, and the host’s kindness in offering us a late checkout made our departure so much smoother. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

My wife and I (plus our dog) had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin for the long weekend. It had just snowed a little bit the previous week, and our dog had a blast hiking the trails that are a short 5 minute drive from the cabin. There’s a fenced in yard that we didn’t use but seemed perfect for cookouts in warmer months. But we had a blast just playing board games and going for hikes nearby. We also enjoyed cooking one of the nights, the kitchen has everything you need. Above all, Nicole was so helpful and responsive leading up to the stay. She even let us check in early when I asked. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a cozy cabin stay, especially if you have a dog!

What a great location! Super chilled, super safe, super located! If you want Venice (which you want), look no further!

We could not be happier with our stay at Lisa’s beautiful home in Ventura! My husband is always very skeptical of renting homes as opposed to staying at a hotel, and even he kept saying “Ok this was an excellent find” Everything about the house was as described and Lisa went above and beyond in making sure the house was ready and comfortable for us, even getting the pack n play set up and ready for use for our 1 year old. The kids bunk room, board games and puzzles, safety covers on every outlet, baby supplies and an abundance of beach toys and gear all helped make this an absolutely perfect spot for families. We were so close to the beach it was no problem at all taking 3 small kids there and back multiple times, and the little main street with a couple restaurants was less than a 5 minute walk away. Instructions were all so clear, the backyard was awesome to hang out and enjoy dinner at, and the entire house was so clean and comfortable. My family is already begging to book it again!

We had a wonderful time at the Cozy Beach House! The area feels like a tiny beach town, just a few small shops and cafés. But, a 10-minute drive from major shops, restaurants, farmers market, and delightful marina village. We stayed with dogs, who enjoyed the fully-fenced (and paved) backyard, and lounging in the sun. We enjoyed the well-appointed, comfortable amenities, and the uncrowded beach a block away. The place is quirky, which makes it more charming, and very clean with modern appliances. (Some have called out the fire pit — it’s fussy but works with a little patience.) We plan to stay here again!

Our family booked this house for Thanksgiving week. It is in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views. The house was very clean and uncluttered. We had an amazing time together cooking, playing games and walking around the neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. So close to downtown Ventura. We did some walking but also found driving and parking super easy in the city. Awesome view and private space.

The pictures of the apartment correspond to reality. Taber is very accommodating and there was simply nothing missing. I can recommend without any problems. Taber is a great host!!
