Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

Very nice cabin in beautiful surroundings. The cabin is well equipped and has everything you need in the kitchen. Steel is easily accessible and responsive. The minus is low beams for tall people and that there is listening between the rooms.

Inger is very helpful and responsive... Excellent stop if you are cycling Mjølkevegen.

We stayed here in summer with our 11 month old baby. Super cozy home, solid materials and amenities. Surroundings are great. You step out the door and can do very nice walks. Very quiet area. Very smooth communication and clear instructions. 100% recommended. We were very happy here.

Cozy cabin in peaceful surrondings. Good hiking, biking and fishing opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The cabin was well equipped and you had the most necessary available. Enough power from solar panel to charge your phone, decent coverage in the cabin. Very convenient with a water pump just beyond, as well as a gas stove.

A simple cabin with fantastic location and beautiful views. Good base for mountain hikes outside the door, and car trips to Bygdin and Strø. Bente on the neighboring beer gave good hiking tips, and was available when we had to wonder about anything. Idyllic swimming pool in the creek, not far from the cabin, and Jette stew a short walk away. A place to recommend!👍🤩

We had a great week in Fjellsyn! We were very well received and came to a warm and very nice cabin where we felt right at home. Mountain views are highly recommended and we have felt welcome and helped right from the time we requested to rent the cabin until we drove from there. Really a lovely experience throughout.

We have had a wonderful stay in this location. The cabin is located right in a mountainous area where easy, tougher or tough walks (some by car) will take you to breathtaking sceneries in vallies or climbing mountain peaks. The cabin is located at 950m of elevation so expect typical mountain weather that can vary somewhat between days and even during the day. The cabin itself is comfortable with three bedrooms with a outdoor space in a southerly sunny direction. Marianne as host has been very friendly, very knowledgable about the surroundings and full of ideas on what you can see and do, really best of the best hostesses. Our friends made a day trip to climb the well known Besseggen which is a 90min drive from the cabin. If you look for a place to do mountain hikes, biking, and related, then this is a very nice spot to do it from in beatiful Norway. Best recommendations!

The stay was wonderful, beautifully decorated home with all the amenities. Great view of the mountains, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Plus, a friendly and helpful host. These are the places you want to come back. Thank you very much.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Paul’s cabin. A perfect location to stay while exploring the Jotunheimen area. Paul’s cabin is super cozy with all the amenities including a private hot tub to soak in after a long day of hiking. No hesitation to book again in the future!
