Beach house holiday rentals in Vaucluse

We stayed over a weekend with our two children and some friends. It was torrentially raining for the first 24 hours which was bad luck and made the journey a bit trickier with cancelled ferries but we made it and the sun came out for us and we had a lovely weekend in the incredible surroundings of Mackerel Beach. It’s such a peaceful and magical spot. Relatively close to Sydney but it feels like you’re so far away when you wake up there. Claudia and Richard gave us detailed and clear instructions which made the logistics so much easier. The kids loved the cricket kit and beach equipment. We all appreciated the kitchen set up as we all like to cook. Eating out on the deck was really special. Will definitely be back to Mackerel beach.

Lorena's place was honestly better than the pictures. the front bedroom was bright and divine. the back sitting area and kitchen were comfortable. the bathroom was a neat decor. Lorena was super helpful with everything. the only downside, outside of her control was the dog in the building that enjoys barking at 530am and the construction across the street. Thank you for having us!

What a superb place! We celebrated a special birthday with the family and could not have asked for anything more. The views were even better than the photos, the house was well equipped and private. An added bonus was the kayaking and SUPing from the private jetty. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Salt Air is a wonderful peaceful and spacious self contained place situated way back behind the main residence in its own space. I could hear the sound of the sea with my windows open (of which there are many!) and see the water from the front patio doors. It’s possible to have total privacy if you wish. A lovely bottle of wine, coffee pods and chocolates awaited me. It’s a 30 second walk to the beach. Lovely cafes and the National Park to walk in. All in all a great place to stay! Thank you Donna.

We loved our stay at Narabeen, easy parking, spacious, clean, and the location is perfect - right at beach front. Our family enjoyed our stay there, kids had fun learning surfing and playing the water , parents enjoyed the view from the garden and the walk along the coast. The house is fully equipped with dishwasher, aircon, etc; which made our stay comfortable. James is also a super host, called us before and after our stay to make sure everything works well. We def. looking forward to book the place again.

This was the 1st time we have used contemporary Hotels, definitely will be looking to book directly in the near future. During our stay, I visited the shop front (Palm Beach) for a sticky beak and purchased some lovely pieces. Fabulous buisness.

A fantastic spot to spend time with our family in a lovely neighborhood, so close to everything that is good about Sydney.

Couldn't have wished for a better location, walking distance to the beach and shops. Stunning house, exactly how it had been portrayed and Samantha and Rich were very helpful and accommodating. I'd have no hesitation in returning if it was available.

Dom’s place was great! He let us check in early after coming in from a 16 hour flight. In addition, our family is gluten free and he had gluten free snacks waiting for us upon check in!

Our group of 10 had such a lovely time at Milan's place. There was ample space for three families, with beautiful living spaces where we could spend time together. The balcony views were absolutely amazing, and it was a lovely place to soak up the sun. The house was very clean, with spacious bedrooms, and comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well equipped, with lots of pots and pans for cooking. The pool was well-maintained, and the three children in our group loved swimming in it. Thank you, Milan, we would love to come back!

Our extended family had an awesome stay. Grandparents and kids all had space to themselves when needed and, the large dining table meant we could all eat together even when our Auistralian family joined us. We had a fuse blow on our last night and Amber got her husband to quickly come up and sort it out as we didn't have access to the fuse box. The kids loved the pool and the downstairs tv area. The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds comfy. Thanks for a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful Easter break at this home in Bundeena. Lee was a great host, communicated very well and offered suggestions on where to eat out. The house was perfect for a big family group with several living areas as well as a fantastic outdoor space, with bbq area and wood burning fireplace. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed the pool, and the sauna was a perfect after a days hiking in the national park. Within walking distance to village and all 3 beaches the location was perfect. Evenings were magical watching to sun going down from the verandah, with sweeping harbour views. Perfect getaway so close to Sydney! Highly recommend.

Beautiful family home that was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. The rooms were large enough, comfy beds and a great outdoor space with the pool to top it all off! Location is tops, only a few minutes walk to town and easy to get around. Laura was a wonderful host, nothing was a hassle.

It’s a little piece of paradise, the outdoor of this gem is actually better than it looks on the photos. It has an amazing terrace overlooking the bay and a spacious lawn where you can enjoy the tranquillity under the trees. The house was clean and functional, the bedrooms very spacious and it offers all the amenities you need for the perfect holiday. Naomi was quick in responding and even organised the delivery of some personal valuables I had forgotten behind. I would def recommend and we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at 5 Florida road. Magnificent views, sensational location and the house was incredibly well equipped! Rachael was a fantastic host and incredibly responsive to any requests that we had and with bringing some items we left in the house back to Sydney for collection which was very thoughtful. A gorgeous end to our summer holidays 🌺

Such a beautiful home! Spent a couple nights with my partner and friends to celebrate my 30th. The space is perfect for entertaining, with a well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms modern and clean, and air conditioning was super lovely to have on warmer evenings. I absolutely love the vintage colourful style, and I think the styling makes the space feel more like a home than a typical Airbnb. The neighbourhood is quiet, and you look across into the park and trees which is very calming. Such a lovely stay, thank you Angus and Courtney!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Simone’s beautiful home. It is in a great location with direct access to the beach, which makes the experience very special. Simone is a fabulous host, easy to communicate with and very responsive. And the local area is gorgeous, lots to do and many great restaurants. We highly recommend and would stay again. Julia’s house was a great place to stay in Sydney. Clean, with everything we needed, full kitchen, easy walk to beach, coastal walk & Coogee’s Main Street. On street parking was also fine. Highly recommend.
