In the evening, the family gathers for dinner, before you enjoy a movie or board games in front of the fireplace. Mountain cabin with amazing views in a quiet area

At 920 metres above sea level, you will have fantastic views of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sunlight from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquillity, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

This is a charming and cozy mountain cabin that offers the best of Norwegian cabin life with modern comfort and nature experiences in the immediate vicinity. The cabin is idyllically located in scenic surroundings, with hiking trails and ski slopes a short distance from the cabin wall. The cabin is family friendly and oozes soul and warmth. It houses a cozy living room with fireplace, a fully equipped and modern kitchen, a spacious bathroom with the possibility of a hot shower after an active day out and 4 bedrooms with room for the whole family.

Historic Norwegian farmhouse in Telemark

The house consists of two bedrooms, a living room with a sofa and dining table room for 6 people, a well-equipped kitchen, a simple bathroom with a washing machine, and a separate toilet. The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms all have a wood-burning fireplace. Guests have their own private terrace with a lovely view of the Grovstjønn Lake. You also have access to the Eldhus which is a small building that dates back to 1780. You can park the car right outside the farmhouse. There is no TV or WiFi but excellent mobile network coverage.

At the disposal of the guests there is a private jetty, a rowing boat, beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. The cottage has three bedrooms, electricity and water from Haugesjo, as well as a sunny and secluded terrace. Perfect for a family that dreams of a simple life in a cottage with the possibility of swimming, angling and hiking. The cottage has an access road. We are looking forward to your visit.

The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

Welcome to our cozy cottage on beautiful Vegglifjell, 750 meters above sea level. Undisturbed location with nature right outside the door, road all the way up. The cabin is fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday, firewood and electricity are included, as well as access to some dry goods. Dogs are allowed, but not on furniture. Cats are not allowed due to allergies.
