Private 1 Bedroom upstairs apartment within minutes to the interstate, stores and the hospital. The state capital is just minutes away by car. Hiking trails, ponds, and state forrest is just around the corner from our place and we'd be happy to point you in the right direction. This is a spacious guesthouse/retreat where you can relax and unwind. There are great views and walking down the road is serene, with open fields bordered by woods and teaming with wildlife. In the winter you can Nordic ski or snowshoe right outside your door, through fields and woodland paths down by an active sugar-bush. We currently have chickens as well as my friendly dog Annie who loves to play. We also have a young kitty named LB who is a pip.

Our unique hideaway is only two miles from many restaurants, cute shops, the gorgeous Buttermilk Falls and Okemo Mountain Resort opening Sunday December 1, 2024 where you can enjoy mountain biking, a ropes course or skiing and riding! Enjoy 100 acres of hiking right outside your door. There is nice fire fire pit, hot tub and outdoor seating. Perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast or a relaxing weekend in cool VT air!

Garden Retreat

Located in Central Vermont our studio apartment for two is surrounded by gardens with its own patio. Due to Covid precautions, we are only accepting FULLY VACCINATED guests, at this time. We are located north of Dartmouth College, near Barre/ Montpelier and close enough for day trips to the White Mountains, major ski areas and fly fishing.

The garage apartment is comfortable, clean and pet-friendly. Great for weekend getaways; we are just a stroll away from the lake or the village and a short drive to Mount Snow. The Moover is a local free bus to Mount Snow ski resort, Brattleboro and Bennington and is easily accessible at the traffic light.
